aka's own house. Ten years since the first extensive renovations. Time for further change and more construction activity. This time the old shed bites the dust and a younger version springs up in its place. A link through to the house with bike storage beneath a lofty plinth. Black steel for a ladder to find the sunny resting space. Black formply to complete the industrial materiality. Cedar inside and out with a vertical emphasis. Selective lighting to add accent to the inky black. Grasses greenify the lightwell and the modern shed/den is ready to occupy.
