Turimetta Beach.

Developing the house design and the landscape design together made this property a real Landart design. The client wanted a house and garden that felt grounded and connected to its natural surrounds that allowed for family and friends entertaining and enjoyment. Australian hardwoods and natural stone were used both on the house and in the garden. Taking inspiration from the surrounding coastline and rockpools, we transitioned the stone tile we used both internally and externally into the pool. This has created what feels like natural water body. The garden and landscape flows from the front entry all the way to the rear of the property blurring the lines between front and back and taking full advantage of the northern side aspect and outlook onto the headland. Coastal plants have been used in the garden and on the 1st floor balcony to tolerate the harsh conditions and to provide a relaxed feel that remains sympathetic to its natural surrounds. Many evenings will be enjoyed entertaining friends and family around the fire pit while adoring the limitlessness of the ocean beyond.
