Urban Aspects.

This project required the repurposing of an abandoned, ageing, former supermarket building into a modern, functional, retail centre serving the local community.

We achieved this by demolishing the old internal structure of the existing building and refitting a suspended ceiling and associated services into the new layout. Additionally, fit-out works were completed, to varying degrees, for each of the initial shop tenants, i.e. a general store, a hairdressing salon and a café.

The challenge, aside from managing the works to a tight budget and deadline, was to satisfy the requirements of several clients simultaneously. This was achieved by ensuring good communication between all parties and obtaining unanimous agreement for any changes proposed.
