We’ve had the good fortune to work with this talented firm on two residences over 25 years and it was such a pleasure! We’d do it again just for the fun EXCEPT we would not change a thing about the current home Mil and Svend (and awesome team) designed and furnished for us. We have enjoyed our home for 10 years and the space inspires me every day, literally! Words that come to mind when I think of Mil and Svend are: incredibly talented, highest integrity, master collaborators, flexible problem solvers, inspiring creativity, kind-hearted, respectful and trustworthy. If you have the opportunity to engage them on your project, I assure you, your life will be richer.

Svend and his team have designed three homes for Karen and me. Each experience was great! They are good listeners, helpful with suggestions, and most importantly give quality service. The homes are beautiful and well designed.

Svend, Mil and everyone else on the Bodron+Fruit team is smart, passionate, and a pleasure to work with. Working with them was fun, exciting, educational and in the end we have a home that is beautiful, inside and out.

We've done two complete full gut renovations with Bodron/Fruit, including interior design. Mil and Svend are great to work with and would do a third house with them, if it ever came to pass. Mil and Svend are the go-to designer/architect in Dallas and, in my opinion, anywhere else. They have unmatched talent, uncompromising standards, a talented team, and, most importantly, a great sense of humor, all of which are essential to complete a successful project. Tellingly, almost all of their clients have completed multiple projects with them and have developed years-long friendships. I am lucky enough to count myself as one and am looking forward to more.

I bought a home designed by Bodron + Fruit over 15 years ago, and I’m still amazed at how timeless their work is. The design and selections truly stand the test of time, everything feels current, even after all these years. 

What has meant just as much is how supportive they’ve been long after the project was finished. Even though I wasn’t the original client, they never had any obligation to assist me, yet every time I reached out, they responded quickly and were so generous, often providing plans and drawings within hours for our remodel. That level of care and professionalism is something you don’t come across often.  

I would have loved to work with them again on our renovation, but their schedule is always full, which really says everything about the quality of their work. Hopefully one day.
